The Tagaytay Highlands Steakhouse needs no introduction. Steak lovers would agree with me when I say that they have one of the best steaks in the country. It's an SOP that whenever our family goes on a trip to Tagaytay, a meal would always be reserved for the Highlands Steakhouse.
Here's what we had:
Complimentary bread. Crunchy on the outside, soft and pillowy on the inside. |
French onion soup. Not good at all. Better to get your french onion soup fix elsewhere. |
Now on to the main entree:
Prime Rib with shredded corn and yorkshire pudding |
Now THIS is yummy. Was a bit disappointed when the order came. I didn't expect my prime rib to be cut up in pieces. But it was good nonetheless. Hopefully next time it'll come in one piece, just like the ones they used to serve. Must've just gotten the shorter end of the stick that day, since everybody else's prime rib came in one piece.
Just look at that. Can you imagine sinking your teeth into this juicy goodness? |
Highlands Steakhouse is at Tagaytay-Calamba Road, Tagaytay City.
