Outfit of the Week: Comfort is Key

September in Tokyo is not really cold.  But yes, I am still wearing boots.  Because I love boots and have nowhere to wear them so I figured might as well wear it out in another country.  LOL.  And thank you, wind, for that windblown hair effect :)  As I've mentioned in my past outfit posts, I'm a lazy dresser.  Minus the boots, tunic+leggings is actually my daily uniform.  Love this combination to bits!  Why?  Because with tunic+leggings, you could actually just change shoes and voila!  From casual to a bit more formal in a second.  Just make sure your top is not too casual, or it wouldn't work.  Speaking of tops, this tunic is actually a dress, but comes up a bit short on me.  So pairing it up with leggings is the perfect thing to do.  And since I'm travelling, comfort is key.  And there's nothing more comfortable than a roomy top and a pair of soft, stretchy leggings.  Feels like pajamas, only better :)  How about you?  What's your travel outfit musts?  Would love to hear about it!

Outfit of the Week: Biker Chick

And for the last outfit in this LA series, I give you the biker chick look.  Ok ok so it doesn't look anything like a biker outfit... well, maybe a little?  The top surely looks like it, right?  When I first got the top, I really didn't know what to do with it.  Loved the design, but wearing it with a camisole inside wouldn't look nice.  Besides, it would also be too hot for this kind of weather in Manila.  And wearing it with nothing inside would look too scandalous.  So what's a girl to do?  Bring it to LA where people couldn't care less about what you're wearing!  LOL!  Actually just wore this on a shopping trip, hence, the extremely casual flip flops.  Oops!  Haha!  Hope you guys like it though! Outfit of the Week: Gladiator

"I could never pull that off".  That was what I told Hubby, referring to a woman who was wearing knee-high gladiator flats with shorts, on a random mall trip sometime last month.  Lo and behold, that same day, I found the very same pair, tried it on, and fell in love with it.  The gladiators came at the right time too, we were flying out the following week.  So what's a girl to do?  Pack 'em in the suitcase and wear them out in sunny LA!  At first I wasn't sure if the outfit will work, but I've always been experimental with fashion.  Guess it works because as we were taking photos, a guy walked by and said 'nice outfit!' LOL.  Oh, thank you :)
