Outfit of the Week: Biker Chick

And for the last outfit in this LA series, I give you the biker chick look.  Ok ok so it doesn't look anything like a biker outfit... well, maybe a little?  The top surely looks like it, right?  When I first got the top, I really didn't know what to do with it.  Loved the design, but wearing it with a camisole inside wouldn't look nice.  Besides, it would also be too hot for this kind of weather in Manila.  And wearing it with nothing inside would look too scandalous.  So what's a girl to do?  Bring it to LA where people couldn't care less about what you're wearing!  LOL!  Actually just wore this on a shopping trip, hence, the extremely casual flip flops.  Oops!  Haha!  Hope you guys like it though! XOXO

Outfit of the Week: Supersize Me

Oh hello!  My apologies, haven't posted an outfit shot for quite some time now.  Been feeling uninspired, so lately all my outfits have been blah and not post-worthy.  LOL.  Well this week I've managed to pick myself up fashion-wise and finally came up with something decent (at least to me, haha).  I present to you... my supersize me outfit!  Why?  No it's not because I got morbidly fat over the course of the month, but rather, the title has something to do with my actual outfit.  See the necklace?  It has oversized pearls.  The skirt?  Maxi.  And the bag?  Oversized too.  The person on the photo?  Well, er... let's not go there.  LOL!  Was actually a bit conscious to wear a cropped top outside (people might start screaming and running away, haha) but Hubby said it looks fine so with a bit of self-confidence, I wore this out to a family lunch.  Well, the good news is, no one started screaming or running away, and the security guards at the mall actually let me in!  Haha!  But seriously speaking, my parents, who almost always has something to say when it comes to my fashion choices, did not say anything!  Yay!

So how about you, my dear readers?  How do you find my outfit?  Did I pull it off?  Sound off at the comments section please!  Would love to hear what you think! :)

Outfit of the Week: Peasant

Do I look like a peasant here?  Haha!  The peasant reference is actually because of the skirt.  I don't even know when I actually bought it and just accidentally found it when I was looking for something else in my closet.  Now that's what I call a good find!  And since the print of the skirt is already busy enough, I figured that a plain black top and a multi-strand necklace would do the trick.  To complete the peasant look, I brought out my ever-trusted humongous Marc Jacobs bag.  And there you have it!

Outfit of the Week: Going Maxi

Maxi dresses and maxi skirts are definitely two of my favorite things to wear.  It's comfortable, it makes you look thinner, it looks chic and it's one of my go-to when I'm at a loss for an outfit to wear.  What's not to love, right?  You can pair this with anything or everything, be it cropped tops for a sexier vibe, or a simple button down/tshirt tucked into the skirt for a polished look.  Word of advice:  it's always better to tuck in your top (unless it's cropped) when wearing a maxi skirt, otherwise, it'll look sloppy.  So here I am wearing my black maxi skirt on a random Saturday shopping day.  Hope you like it! :)
