Hong Kong Eats: Cafe de Coral

Who has gone to Hong Kong and is not familiar with Cafe de Coral?  If you said yes to both questions, then shame on you!  Kidding!  But what the heck, there's a Cafe de Coral in almost every corner of Hong Kong, much like there's a Jollibee in every corner of the Philippines.  So missing it is a huge no-no.  Besides, if you've gone to Hong Kong and never had tried Cafe de Coral, then you're definitely missing out.

Beef curry rice.  The ultimate beefy goodness in a bowl.

Roasting combination.  Very flavorful.

Baked porkchop and tomato.  Hubby and i had this when we visited Hong Kong last year, and has been craving for it ever since.  Once you sink your teeth in Cafe de Coral's baked porkchop tomato, you'll start wondering if it's marshmallows you're really biting into.  Tender.  Succulent.  Amazingly delicious.  I will wipe off that drool forming in my mouth now.

Overall I'd give Cafe de Coral a 4 out of 5 stars.  Kudos to them for having several hundred restaurants around Hong Kong and maintaining good quality in each and every one of them.

Cafe de Coral is at Cityplaza, 18 Taikoo Shing Road, Taikoo ShingIsland EastHong Kong.  It can also be found all over Hong Kong.
